in Tallinn – Estonia
Nestled along the picturesque coastline of Tallinn, NOA is more than just a restaurant—it’s a culinary destination that marries breathtaking views with exceptional dining. Opened with a vision to bring innovative and globally inspired cuisine to Estonia, NOA has become a beacon of modern gastronomy. Its sleek, nature-inspired design complements its seaside location, offering diners a serene yet sophisticated atmosphere.
Adding to its allure, there are two distinct “NOA” restaurants located side by side, each offering a unique experience:
- NOA Chef’s Hall: Renowned for its creative and refined tasting menu, this exclusive establishment proudly holds a Michelin star. Here, chefs Tõnis Siigur and Roman Sidorov craft intricate multi-course journeys, blending the best global ingredients with a touch of local charm. NOA Chef’s Hall offers an elevated dining adventure for those seeking the pinnacle of culinary artistry.
- NOA Restoran: Complementing the Chef’s Hall, NOA Restoran has earned a Bib Gourmand for its exceptional quality and value. While more casual than its Michelin-starred neighbor, it delivers a modern, globally inspired menu with a relaxed yet stylish approach. It’s perfect for diners wanting a laid-back atmosphere without compromising on creativity or flavor.
Despite their differences in philosophy and accolades, both restaurants share the same dedication to excellence and the stunning seaside location. Together, they make NOA a destination where culinary dreams are realized, whether you’re indulging in the sophisticated intricacies of a tasting menu or enjoying a casual evening with unforgettable views.
The food at NOA is undeniably good—but is it truly top-tier fine dining? Not quite.
Take the main course, for example: a beautifully cooked lamb with a delicious crust. The problem? The portion size. With each bite, it became clear that not every mouthful could include that flavorful crust, and without it, the lamb—though tender—felt somewhat ordinary, lacking the depth of seasoning that could have elevated it.
Yet, whatever shortcomings the food may have, they simply fade away when you dine at NOA during sunset. The mesmerizing play of golden light dancing on the waves, the endless horizon glowing with fiery hues—this spectacle alone makes NOA worth visiting.
Because sometimes, an unforgettable view can turn a good meal into a great experience.
