About Us

Welcome to my little corner of the internet dedicated to the world of fine dining! Every picture and review you’ll find here is uniquely mine 😊. While some entries may only feature images, it simply means I haven’t yet had the time to write a review. Rest assured, all base texts are written by me, with a little help from AI to refine and enhance them.
My journey into fine dining began in June 2022. Like many, I couldn’t resist snapping pictures of the beautiful creations on my plate (who doesn’t? 😉), but I didn’t take notes back then—and, to be honest, I still don’t. Instead, my reviews are based on what I remember of each experience, and up until now, I’ve only shared short reflections on platforms like Tripadvisor. I launched this blog at the end of 2024 as a way to capture and share those memories. For context, all Michelin, Gault & Millau, or La Liste scores referenced here reflect the rankings on the day of my visit.

I'm adding them to this blog too.

In addition to reviews, I’ll also share news and updates from the fine dining world. Being based in Belgium, most of the content will center around what’s happening “close to home.” However, I love exploring fine dining abroad, and I aim to add at least one new country to my list every year.
All the dinners and lunches featured here are enjoyed in either a family or business context, and I’m not sponsored or affiliated with any restaurants. This blog is simply an expression of my passion for the artistry and creativity found in fine dining.
A little about me: I don’t have a culinary background—I’m a manager in the IT sector who happens to have a deep appreciation for exceptional food. This is my way of blending my professional world with my personal love for gastronomy.

My fine-dining bucket-list, or better what I want to do 😊:
  • Go to at least one Michelin star restaurant in each country where Michelin gives stars
  • Go to at least one new country each year and go to a Michelin-star restaurant
  • Go to at least one restaurant per year with at least 92.5 on La Liste
There is of course also a bucket-list with restaurants I want to visit. That list is a real wish-list that changes over time. Restaurants are added, some are removed. Just to give an idea of what restaurants are on my wish-list, I’ll give a few examples:
  • Harbour House** (Elk – USA)
  • Pic *** (Valence- France)
  • Atomix ** (NYC – USA) (Tried to secure a reservation – they sold out in 2 minutes)
  • Orfali Bros * (Dubai)
  • Ikarus** (Salzburg – Austria)
  • Den** (Tokyo – Japan)
